The Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Dino Melaye has described the death of the Minister of state on labour and Employment, Barr. James Enojo Ocholi as a sun that set at noon.

This was contained in a press statement issued by his S.A on Media, Mr. Gideon Ayodele this morning.

The statement expressed the heartfelt condolences of the senator, representing Kogi West District, which goes out to the family of Late Barr. James Ocholi, the good people of Kogi State and Nigeria at large.

“We will surely miss the presence of a truly loveable and kind person. This great Nigerian will be missed and he will never be forgotten, may his soul rest in peace”

“May God forgive and accept his soul into the Garden of Eden, near the throne of whom he seek and loved!

“Words may not suffice to express the heartfelt sorrow that I feel for the passing of an ICON and a wonderful man, a beautiful soul, full of love and faith, ascended to heaven, away from us, but closer to God, leaving loneliness and sadness. Words cannot describe what I am feeling. I give my condolences to the entire family. God rest his soul”

Senator Dino Melaye said that the death was sudden and shocking. Said Barr. Ocholi died too early at a time Nigeria needed him so much. He described him as a man who is selfless in his service to humanity.

He charged everybody to accept his death, though painful, in good faith, prayed that God will grant all the solitude to bear the irreparable loss.
