No Masquerade Procession During Elections, Kogi Police Chief Warns

The Kogi State Police Command has warned custodians of masquerades in the state to desist from bringing them out during the elections.

The state’s Police Public Relation Officer, ASP Sola Collins Adebayo, said the state Commissioner of Police Samuel Adeyemi Ogunjemilusi has warned that anybody caught violating the order would be arrested alongside the masquerade.

He also warned that the command would not tolerate any form of violence before, during and after the elections.
