Federal government has been commended for bestowed a National Honour award of Commander Order of Niger, CON on the former governor of kogi state, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris.
The Media Assistant to Kogi state governor, Captain Idris Wada on online Media, Mr. Matthew Ochada stated this yesterday in Lokoja shortly after the meeting of Omala Progressive Youth held in Lokoja.
He said the National Honour award was well deserved in view of the numerous achievements recorded by the former governor when he steered the leadership of the state.
He further disclosed that the former governor as an entrepreneurial has given succor to many Nigerians through massive employment into his hospitality business.
He lauded the President Jonathan visionary leadership for rewarding the deserving persons who have contribute immensely to the growth of the nation economy and political development.
