Mr Isah Yahaya, the president of the National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS) has appealed to the Academic Staff union of universities (ASUU) to call-off its ongoing strike action in the interest of Nigerian students.
Yahaya stated that the strike was getting a bit longer than expected,while saying that the students can no longer cope with sitting at home.
Yahaya,said if the Federal Government was not ready to comply by the requirements of ASUU, they should please put an end to the strike in other not to keep students for a long time at home.
He stated that,though the Federal Government should live up to their responsibilities by providing necessary incentives that are meant for lecturers,while noting that lectures should not be neglected.
Yahaya,commended the efforts been put in place by ASUU to see that the university environment was conducive for students.Share this on WhatsApp
