Melaye Urges Kogites to Vote Jonathan

Mr. Femi Melaye, son to the former Kabba/Bunu-Ijumu Federal Rep aspirant on the platform of defunct APP Chief S.O Melaye, and Kogi State Chairman, National Democratic Movement (NDM) has urged Nigerians to vote Massively for President Goodluck Jonathan to enable him complete his good works.

Melaye who spoke in his Maitama Abuja office on Monday, said a vote for Jonathan is “a vote for continuity and sustenance of the Transformation Agenda of the president’’.

He stressed that the sustenance of the Transformation Agenda in the power sector, agricultural sector, among others, would greatly boost the economic growth of the country.

Melaye, also appealed to Nigerians to vote for Jonathan to avoid policy reversal.

He said President Jonathan had demonstrated ability and statesmanship in the handling of the affairs of the country.

He expressed optimism that the people of Kogi would vote massively for President Goodluck Jonathan during next month’s Presidential Elections.

“Kogi State Should have been one of the state benefiting directly from the Transformation Agenda, but because of the nature of Weakness shown in Government, under Gov. Idris Wada”

He called on the State government to come up with Policies that can benefit the mass.

“The natural resources in the state should be harnessed for the benefit of the People, Salaries should be paid, the youth must be giving a place in the affairs of government.

We must start thinking of how to build our state Economy, not waiting for federal allocation, we must also give the youth a sense of belonging, and be accountable to the masses. This will make our people have confidence in us” Melaye Emphasized.
