The administrator of Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State, Hon. Ajoge Enesi Abu has hailed the people of Kogi State for turning out en mass at Saturday’s APC mega rally and decamping ceremony held at the Confluence Stadium in Lokoja.
Speaking with newsmen in Lokoja, Ajoge described the turnout as historical which shows the people of Kogi State are in love with Governor Yahaya Bello and the All Progressive Congress (APC).
He posited that the unprecedented turn-out shows that the APC has come to stay in Kogi State and Kogites have shown that their support for APC and the new direction government is unshakable.
He commended all Adavians for turning up in their large numbers to show solidarity to the administration of Governor Bello.
The council boss urged the people to keep faith with Gov. Bello-led government and make sure that Adavians speak with one voice in the re-election of the governor.
He said Gov. Bello, in the last two years, has fulfilled virtually all his campaign promises and has turned around the fortunes of Kogi State.
“It will only be fair to vote him for a second term. Governor Bello has truly shown that he is the people’s Governor and the people have also shown that he is their own,” he said.
Ajoge pledged his unflinching support for the new direction government and pledged to use the good office the Governor has given to him to promote the goodwill of the government.
He urged all other appointees to to continue to do same as the struggle to liberate Kogi state is a collective effort.
