The Chief Administrator of Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi state,  Hon. Abu Enesi Ajoge has said that Kogi State will never return to the state of under development, insecurity and maladministration which he said was the bane of development in the state for several years.

According to him, the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello has brought about equity and fairness in the conduct of the affairs of the state.

He stated  this in Okene yesterday during the reception for over 10,000 members and supporters of various political parties in Kogi Central Senatorial District of Kogi state who decamped to the All Progressive Party (APC).

Ajoge congratulated the decampees for their bold steps, assuring them of equal treatment.

He hinted that the reason why people decamped from other parties to APC was as a result of the good governance of Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the governor of Kogi state.

Ajoge pointed out that the governor has embarked on construction of roads and drainages across the five local government councils in Kogi central, adding that the newly commissioned military base located at Achoze in Okene local government is a testimony that the governor is poised to stamp out crime and criminalities in the state particularly in Kogi central.

He appealed to the decampees from other political parties to APC to give their unalloyed support and cooperation to the state Governor and the party to enable him achieve more for the people of the district.

The decampees said their decision to pitch tent with APC  was borne out of their desire to be part of the success story of the new direction agenda of  the present administration of Alhaji Yahaya Bello.

Also speaking a woman leader of APC in Kogi Central, Hajia Mariam  Ibrahim commended the decampees for joining the new direction agenda of Alhaji Yahaya Bello’s administration.

She assured the decampees of equal treatment, not minding that they were new in the party. One of the decampees, Mallam  Suleiman Ohida  Yusuf who decamped from APGA, said they have seen the light and therefore decided to abandone their party for APC in the interest of development of the district.
