The President of the National Association of Kogi Students (NAKOSS), Mr Shuaib Abubakar has commended Gov Idris Wada for paying students bursary as at when due.
Abubakar, who made the commendation in Lokoja, praised the Governor for his care and quick response to students’ needs in the state.
Abubakar noted that the governor is the best that Kogi has ever had, saying that Gov Wada has never joked with the issue of education in the state.
He called on Gov Wada to continue to make available more basic supports to education in the state, noting that Kogi students can compete with students anywhere in Nigeria at all levels. He reiterated the support of the students union towards the present administration.
“We would continue to support your administration, because you have played your role as the father of modern education,” Abubakar said.
He prayed God to continue to protect the governor and the state at large.
