Kogi: Owoeye, Odeyemi Assures APC Leaders of Commitment to Party

A chiefain of the All Progressives Congress, APC,  in Yagba East local government Area of Kogi State,  Chief Joseph Owoeye, has assured of his loyalty and commitment to the party.

Owoeye made this known today when members of Isanlu APC Elders Forum paid him visit in his Lokoja residence.

He acknowledged that there are sharp divisions in the party but assured that he will always put the interest of Isanlu land above his personal political interests.

The former lecturer stated that for about forty years that he has been into active politics,  his core values remain community development,  people development, equity, responsive leadership and loyalty to chosen cause.

The party leaders led by the chairman of the Forum, Alhaji Issa Agbana and Secretary, Hon. Jacob Omoraiyewa, recalled the efforts made by leaders of APC to ensure victory for the party during the 2015 elections and stressed the need for all party leaders to put the interest of Isanlu first,  regardless of their personal affiliations within the party.

The Forum informed that the leaders have held similar meetings with Engineer J. K. Odeyemi and Pastor Toyin Akanle who assured them of their commitment to the cause.

Other elders present at the meeting include the Olumofin of Isanluland,  Barrister James Babatunde Palufe, three member of Yagba East local government party executives and some ward executives.
