Rt. Hon. Hassan Baiwa Abdullahi was born in Anyigba the citadel based of academic, economic cum socio-political centre of Igala Nation. The town is growing speedily on infrastructures and social exposure, alas every Igala personality would love to be identified with the town Anyigba. Aside that, the town has always being the determinant factor of Igala politics.
The vibrant, intelligent, promising  and young Hassan Baiwa started his early education from Christian Mission in Many Land (CMML) Primary School between 1975 – 1981 where he obtained the fundamental basic First School Living Certificate (FSLC), with his exposure to education he went further to Community Secondary Commercial College Anyigba (CSCC) for his post primary education from 1982 – 1987 which propelled him for the West Africa School Certificate Examination (WASC) from The Great Government Secondary School (GSS) Dekina with an excellent performance.
Despite the slim economic status that often characterized the entire Anyigba community then, he was offered admission to study Business Administration at the prestigious Federal Polytechnic Idah between 1991 – 1993, without taking much time he enrolled for his Higher National Diploma in the same institution being the only respected citadel of learning with academic excellence in the North Central Region between 1994 – 1996.
In his quest for knowledge, he went further to the emeritus University in Northern Nigeria, Bayero University Kano for his Post Graduate Study, in the year 2000 where he obtained Post Graduate Diploma in  Management.
Way back 2004 he obtained his Masters Degree from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.
Despite his tight schedule Hon Hassan Baiwa rose to the challenge by investing extra-time of hard work to see to the successful accomplishment of his assignment and the warm atmosphere in his area of services.
He always brought immense sanity to the place of his assignment; he has work and distinguished himself as man of honor.
Hon Hassan Baiwa is married with children. He is young, vibrant and a philanthropist, he has put on the garment of honors, he has travelled virtually to several countries worldwide in the course of business and professional duties.
He has brought his leadership qualities to focus in governance and that wonderful opportunity is reflecting in Okura constituency as member of State House of Assembly.
Hon Hassan Baiwa have raised several motions to enhance the growth and development of his Constituency, the Igala Nation and the state in entities in the Hallow Chamber of State House of Assembly, among the motions include:
He called on the State Government to address the Erosion Menace in Ogane Aji,  Kaduna Efekpe and other suburb of Anyigba. The State is already addressing that through NEWMAP.
The construction of Anyigba township road and dualization of road from Anyigba roundabout to KSU main gate. Already the dualization of road from Iyale round about to Eti-Ukpolo contract already awarded and awaiting mobilization.
He also called on the State Government to codify laws made in Kogi State House of Assembly.
He raised a motion calling on the Ministry of Environment to checkmate the Activities of Sanitary Officer. The House resolution in this regard gave birth to A BILL on Waste Management.
He called on the Ministry of Works, Land and Urban Development to check the activities of town planning department and empower the board to carry out its statutory duties effectively and there’s also a BILL to that effect and so many contributions in the House.
Aside his legislative duties being his primary assignment he was able to embark on the following project and programs to alleviate the suffering of the people of Okura constituency.
He provided 500 desks to schools within his constituency. He also rehabilitate Administrative block of Community Secondary Commercial College Anyigba and construct blocks of classroom at Agala Community Secondary School.

Based on the vital contributions of youth to the socio-economic development of the society, Rt. Hon.  Hassan Baiwa has pursued the employment of youths into various Federal ministries and agencies. He also procured Hundred (100) enrolment Forms into the Nigeria Peace Corps. He empowered over five hundred youth of his constituency.
He made it possible for reasonable number of his constituency to embark upon small scale businesses.
He gave out recommendation Letters for admissions, contract and employment’s to people of his constituency.
An important step have being taken to address the issue of portable water in his constituency, hence the construction of  twenty one boreholes across Okura Constituency.
He constructed and furnished Health Care Clinic at Okura Sawmill and completion of Egboje Clinic both of his Constituency.
He donated 300/33KVA transformers to Anwoku Area 2, and Ojuwo area of Anyigba and Ochaja town.
Indeed Rt. Hon Hassan Baiwa Abdullahi has put on the garment of honor hence he is seeking for the mandate of the people of Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency to represent them at the green Chamber of National Assembly.
