Ajaokuta Fire Outbreak: Aloysius Okino Sends Delegation to Scene, Donates N.1m

As a way of sympathizing with the market women whose shops were engulfed and destroyed by fire in the popular ASCO Bump market on Monday, the former Chairman of Ajaokuta Local Government, Hon. Aloysius Okino sent a five-man delegation to visit the scene and donate one hundred thousand naira to the victims.

 

The delegation which was lead by Hon. Danjuma Paka including Personal Assistant to Senator Ahmed Ogembe, Mr. Daudu Matthew, the Ajaokuta LGA PDP Secretary, Hon. Ibrahim Bala, a former Councillor, Hon. Suleiman Muhammed Suraj, a PDP Youth Leader, Hon. Muhammed Nusa went round the scene of occurrence, showing sympathy to the affected persons.

 

While delivering the sympathy message of the former ALGON Chairman, Hon. Danjuma Paka thanked the Almighty God that no life was lost and sympathized with those whose properties were destroyed. He noted that Hon. Aloysius would have been there in person but he was attending a function in out of town hence, the need to send them there to represent him.

 

In his words, We are here on the instruction of our leader, Hon. Aloysius Adeiza Okino, the former Chairman of Ajaokuta Local Government. We are here to deliver his sympathy message to the affected women whose properties were destroyed by fire. We thank the Almighty God for not allowing any soul to be affected. We pray that God Almighty will avert such scenario in the future

 

Hon. Danjuma Paka delivered the sum of a hundred thousand naira to the affected traders as token relief support from the leader while calling on other concerned individuals to also come to the aid of the traders.

 

A cross section of the women expressed joy and prayed for Hon. Aloysius for remembering them at a time of their difficulties.

 

Speaking on behalf of the traders, Mrs. Hajara Rahimi thanked Hon. Aloysius Okino for his show of love by not only sending a delegation to sympathize with them, but also donating such a huge sum of money, praying that, the Almighty God will reward him abundantly.

 

She said, We thank Hon. Aloysius Okino for his usual magnanimity towards us. We must confess, we have really missed his government. We want to assure him that we appreciate his kind gestures all the time. We prayed to God Almighty to always meet his heart desires. As he remembered us today, God Almighty will forever remember him.
